Not half bad!

Usually, I don't like hip hop, but this was pretty damn good. I did notice how smooth the rhymes were, and the music did fit it well, too. If this were longer, then hot damn it'd be more bad-ass.

Eheheh, not bad, man.

Love the drums in this, but I do think that this is flash-quality material. Something for a dark flash, or a supposedly scary comedy scene that parodies something. There really isn't much else to describe this, except that it's got a great beat, nice sound, and would be a great song to hear in a flash movie/game.

Thanks a lot. I really enjoy feed back like this. Love, Peace, and Big Beat.

Oh man, great stuff!

Might not be actual rap, but it's real good shit! Excellent instrumental timing and the lack of vocals is, from what I think, extremely appealing. Not only that, but as the title implies, it does show the pointlessness of rap. I thank you for making such a great parody, as I enjoy the song very much.

Ah, another great piece...

Great progression from slow to up-beat. Well-timed instruments, and good overall coordination. The drums and all that jazz sound real nice, too.

However, being the enthusiast I am, I'd pretty much say this is some bad-ass stuff. Keep goin' and good long on future songs, hope to hear some more stuff that I can enjoy from ya soon.

Needs some more improvement.

It's pretty good for its age, however some improvement would make the song enjoyable. The voice overall would be the best to improve to make the song much more enjoyable. The instruments would be a plus, too.

Slow at first...

But when it gets a bit faster, it's really great. A dark-like ambient, for some reason for like dark areas, but then it progresses to a better mood. Really something I like are the strings, but it's missing something that just doesn't make it perfect. It isn't drums, either.

The one word this WIP says from the start

"Shangri-La" is literally the word that describes this song, a peaceful paradise. All it needs to be complete is the full song, which I hope is as smooth and somewhat as tranquil as this demo, a little mixing it up doesn't hurt it much, I guess.

wyldfyre1 responds:

glad ya liked it. Yeah I'm about to send this over to F-777 and see what he'll add. We'll see where it goes from there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I LOVE THIS SONG AND HAPPY BERFDAY RUCKLO

LOLOLOLOL srsly happy berfday :D

Awesome

Everything was great, except the epic missing ending. Even a smooth, calm ending would've been great instead of 13 seconds silence. But, it still a nice song, so...

Sycross responds:

Do I really have 13 seconds of silence? Crap... must have been something Sony ACID added in.

Thanks for the review, I will relisten and remove if there is indeed said silence.

Great stuff

Really good, I'm surprised this has a low score for its good, raw music I mean, I don't like raw, but this has good guitar breaks, which are just great. It's really a good song, though a little mastering on the electronic hard rock parts would make it a bit smoother.

NeglectfulSpawn responds:

i appreciate the advice, thank you for the review
